1. About the privacy policy

This privacy policy is intended to inform you as a customer about how the Pro-Pipe Group process your personal data and what rights you have in relation to our collection, process and storage of your data.

When you use the Pro-Pipe Group’s website, contact or interact with us, we as a data controller process different data about you.

The purpose of processing your data is overall management of your customer relationship, delivery of agreed benefits, obligations, etc.

Therefore, in this privacy policy, you can read about how we process data about you when we register you as a customer, you contact us as well as when we receive information about you from third parties. All of the below mentioned personal data are all processed in accordance with the guidelines set by the General Data Protection Regulation.

2. What data do we collect and process?

When you contact us, we collect and process your personal data in a different ways. It is necessary to process your data in order for us to provide the services for you that you have requested or to contact you in connection with an inquiry. The personal data we collect and process can be divided into the following categories:

  • contact information such as name, address, telephone number, e-mail, VAT, job title, company, department, etc.
  • information that you pass on to us when contacting us through the contact form on our website, email, letter or telephone
  • account information for billing and handling of payment
  • job applicants, including resumes and references

Sometimes we may receive personal data about you from third parties. This may include your contact information and information about your employer. Sometimes we register the information we receive from third parties about you in our system so that we can contact you with information and offers on our services.

3. For what purpose do we use your personal data?

3.1 Customers

When you, as a private person, representative of a company, supplier etc., enter into a contract with the Pro-Pipe Group, we register a number of personal data about you. We register among other things your contact and identification information or other personal data that you may provide.

We process your data in order to fulfill the contract we have concluded and to be able to contact you and provide the services we have agreed on. In addition, we process your data in connection with billing and handling of payment.

3.2 Inquiries

When you contact us through the contact form on our website, by phone, mail or in another way, your inquiry will contain personal data. We process this data in order to answer your inquiry and to fulfill an agreement.

4. Recipients of your personal data

We only exchange your personal data with the necessary recipients for your customer relationship with us.

Certain data is processed outside the company by our data processors who handle the operation and IT security tasks (e.g. backup, hosting of the website, etc.). Storage of the data by our extern data processors is subject to the rules of the General Data Protection Regulation, and data processing agreements have been made to ensure that data do not end up in unauthorized hands.

In general, we do not pass on personal data to third parties without your consent unless we are required by law or if necessary to pursue the above-described purposes.

5. Storing and deleting your personal data

We only keep your personal data until they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which the data is processed. Therefore, your personal data will be deleted in accordance with the following procedures:

  • Contact and identification information is deleted when the contract is fulfilled, at the expiration of the deadline or on request
  • Accounting information associated with your purchases will be retained for 5 years from the end of the financial year to which the purchase relates
  • Applications are deleted after 6 months, unless consent has been obtained

6. Your rights

According to the General Data Protection Regulation, you have a number of rights to protect your personal data.

You can at any time be informed of what data we process about you, where they come from, and what we use them for. You can also be informed of who receives data about you if we pass on the information in Denmark or abroad.

If you believe that the data we process about you is incorrect, you are entitled to get them rectified. If you believe your personal data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were obtained, you may request to have them deleted. You also have the right to request limitation of processing of your personal data, for instance if the accuracy of the data is incorrect.

You are entitled to object to our processing of your personal data. If your opposition is justified, we will stop processing your data.

7. Changes to the privacy policy

This privacy policy will be updated and changed when necessary so that we comply with applicable laws at all times.
